to join the

CENTRAL OHIO ROSE SOCIETY

Affiliated with the American Rose Society and the Buckeye District
 

Our meetings are held the Second Sunday of the month (January thru May and October thru November) at:

 The Franklin Park Conservatory
 1777 E. Broad St.
Columbus, Ohio
 starting at 2:00 PM.


 In June we meet at:
 Inniswoods Metro Park in Westerville
 on the Second Friday at 8:00 pm.
 December we have our Holiday meeting and dinner

Private Rose Shows, 2 per Year Instructional Presentations on Rose Growing

The Central Ohio Rose Society Mission Statement

The Mission of the Central Ohio Rose Society is to educate the public on the cultivation, showing and arranging of roses.

We also advocate and support the use of roses in the private and public gardens of our communities in order to beautify our environment and to preserve the rich heritage of the rose in American history. 

CORS Meetings...

CORS is one of the larger, more unique and active local rose societies in the country. Its membership boasts 13 Accredited Rose Judges. Some 38 members hold appointments as Consulting, Rosarians in the Buckeye District of the American Rose Society, an Honorary appointment, but one which implies a willingness to offer practical advise and help to rose growers, whether or not they are ARS members. The Society has the distinction of having among its members former National Officers of the ARS, including Treasurer and President, and the current American Rose Society President Dr. James Hering.

Annual membership dues are $15.00 per family and $10.00 for single. This membership also entitles you to receive our monthly newsletter containing Society information and information on rose growing. To learn more about CORS and ARS meetings and activities, please ask one of the members present. Our Society is for anyone interested in growing ro roses Our meetings are open to the public and we would welcome your visit.
