CHOICESCHOICES for Victims of Domestic Violence is a domestic violence shelter in central Ohio. CHOICES is committed to the principle that violence is not acceptable.
To relieve suffering and to foster prevention, CHOICES offers:
During 1994, CHOICES provided information and referrals to 9,070 people through its hotline. The confidential shelter housed more than 450 women and children. Through CHOICES' SOS program, 181 new clients received counseling services to deal with domestic violence. More than 271 speeches, presentations and workshops were made by CHOICES' trained staff.
CHOICES is a member of the United Way of Franklin County and a contract agency of the Franklin County Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health (ADAMH) Board.
