CHOICES Women's Charity Golf Tournament

The Tournament

Known prior to 1996 as the Scottie MacBean Women's Charity Golf Tournament, this event is a major fundraiser for CHOICES for Victims of Domestic Violence. The tournament consists of two divisions: an 18-hole, flighted, four-woman scramble, and a 9-hole tournament.

The charity tournament is the dream child of the Columbus Business Women's Golf League. It was conceived only in 1993, but by 1996 proceeds had doubled. During the tournament, Worthington Community Women presents a silent auction and raffle that benefits CHOICES.

The tournaments supported to a large extent by companies in Ohio.
