Founded in 1974 NAWBO is the official U. S. member of Les Femmes Chefs d'Entreprises Mondiales (the World Association of Women Entrepreneurs.) FCEM represents 28 countries around the world.

NAWBO, headquartered in Washington, D.C. is the voice of America's 6.5 million women entrepreneurs. NAWBO has 50 chapters around the country, and a growing number of Affiliate organizaitons and At-Large members.

Unique Features of NAWBO

Columbus has a variety of private and public organizations that represent or support women business owners. NAWBO is unique among these organizations because of the following features:

Meetings

Monthly steering committee meetings are held on the 4th Wednesday of the month at the offices of Thompson, Hine & Flory. General program meetings are held the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 5:30pm - 7:30pm at various locations
